  • Complete good work for courses.
  • Get good grades.
  • Be an active in class and out side of class student.
  • Having fun with studying.
  • Be really good at drawing.
  • Get good with math

My long term goals:

  • Getting to one of the top school in the United States of America like Stanford, UCLA, Berkeley, Yale...
  • Be a better person by doing more charity work, social activities, volunteer work.
  • Travel as much as I can and learn about different cultural.
  • Being healthy and live my life to the fullest because to me we only live once so make the best you can while you can!
How SLCC's Learning Outcomes helped me achieving my goals:

  • Students communicate effectively. This includes developing critical literacy—reading, writing, speaking, listening, visual understanding—that they can apply in various contexts; Organizing and presenting ideas and information visually, orally, and in writing according to standard usage; Understanding and using the elements of effective communication in interpersonal, small group, and mass settings.

I can definitely see my self developed the communication skill over the year and it is wonderful to be able to communicate in a better way. I find that becomes easier when you know how to talk and deal with different situation correctly. I have joined clubs like the Student International Diplomat Program which requires me to talk more in public and which I love.

  • Students develop quantitative literacies necessary for their chosen field of study. This includes approaching practical problems by choosing and applying appropriate mathematical techniques; Using information represented as data, graphs, tables, and schematics in a variety of disciplines; Applying mathematical theory, concepts, and methods of inquiry appropriate to program-specific problems.

Math is a very important skill and we cannot get it out of our life because math is in everything so I have too and I am getting better at because it is a part of everyday life. I am getting better at it everyday even though it is not easy at all but I'm ready to conquer. Taking math classes at SLCC really helped me to achieve this confident in math.

  • Students think critically and creatively. This includes reasoning effectively from available evidence; demonstrating effective problem solving; engaging in creative thinking, expression, and application; Engaging in reflective thinking and expression; Demonstrating higher-order skills such as analysis, synthesis, and evaluation; Making connections across disciplines; Applying scientific methods to the inquiry process.

Being able to think critically and creatively is very important, we live in a world full of new stuff forcing us be be creative and to think critically about almost everything. Yes being creative is fun and it is the human advantages so why not use our abilities. Learning at SLCC requires us to be able to think critically and be very creative. By taking classes I have to prove my work and prove that I can think critically and and creatively.

  • Students develop the knowledge and skills to be civically engaged. This includes understanding the natural, political, historical, social, and economic underpinnings of the local, national, and global communities to which they belong; Developing the awareness of both civil rights and civil responsibilities for individual and collective action in a democracy;

Taking classes at SLCC have helped me to acknowledge the general skills and requirement in fields like social, history, political. It is a general basic that we must all know and broaden everyday so we don't become dull. our brain can manage a lot more than this. I also have aware both civil rights and civil responsibilities for individual and collective action in a democracy
